We publish monthly as well as online weekly columns. We are seeking gay writers to help round out of staff of existing writers. Our June issue will be our GAY issue and we want many of the articles to be from a gay perspective.
However, we are always seeking freelance contributors to write about Civil Rights, Politics, Business + Technology, Gay rights, Women's Rights, Religion, News, and the Arts, (fashion, design, architecture, theater, film, dance, and music) as well as special bloggers to be featured on our site, gay or straight or in-between.
REQUIREMENTS FOR THE WRITERS:
-experience writing for a publication (magazine, newspaper, etc.)
-the ability to submit articles by deadline
-high quality writing skills
-the ability to enlighten and/or inspire our readers
-good grammar and spelling (at least know how to use a spell check!)
COMPENSATION
We pay only upon publication. Compensation is dependent upon your skill level, pertinence to our magazine, and whether you are writing for a feature or weekly column.
