Bold Strokes Books offers a diverse collection of LesbianGayBiTransQueer general and genre fiction. BSB genre fiction includes all romance sub-genres as well as action, adventure, crime, mystery/intrigue, and speculative fic (sci-fi/fantasy/horror). BSB Victory (Lesbian) and Liberty (GBT) Editions include literary and popular fiction as well as non-fiction that explore the LGBT experience in its many forms (contemporary, historical, saga) while telling strong human stories with universal themes. BSB Matinee Books are all about r0mances: focused reads presenting passion, s3xual attraction, and compelling connections in a tightly written, engaging package. Our Young Adult line, BSB Soliloquy, features a protagonist aged 14-21 in stories within all fiction genres that delve into questions of identity, gender, s3xuality, self-esteem, peer relationships, ethics, and life issues. HeatStroke, our newest line, offers er0tica for every pleasure.

Our print books are conventionally produced and available worldwide through our Publisher's webstore, Amazon, Baker and Taylor, Bella DIstribution, Ingram, and national/international wholesalers. All our titles are also available in digital form and sold through our Publisher's webstore, Amazon, Barnes&Noble.com, and other third party retailers. With our streamlined digital distribution channels, we can offer a wide variety of titles with a shorter production cycle to meet the rapidly changing demands of the worldwide readership.

We are only interested in quality works from serious authors. Every manuscript is individually reviewed by the selections director and members of the consulting editorial staff. A thorough review is a time-consuming process: therefore, we do not review manuscripts that have been simultaneously submitted to multiple publishers. Our average review period is 14 weeks.

We welcome the opportunity to consider manuscripts from authors worldwide and are happy to answer any questions that you may have about the submission process or our various divisions. To submit a manuscript or query about a submittal, please use this email address: submissions@boldstrokesbooks.com. Selections Director: Len Barot.

Please note:

1. A confirmation email is sent within 48 hours of receiving a manuscript. Please query us if you do not receive one.
2. Due to the large volume of submissions, we do not provide critiques.
3. Our average time to decision regarding publication is 14 weeks.
4. Reprints will be considered only with proof of termination of the previous publishing contract.
