Volunteers Needed: Help Plan the OutWrite LGBT Book Fair

The 2012 OutWrite LGBT Book Festival will take place August 3rd and 4th, 2012. Our first OutWrite Festival took place last year and included: 9 book-readings with authors, two poetry events, and three discussions on queer literature and queer literary culture.

We need your help to make this year's event a success! If you would like to be part of planning the 2012 OutWrite LGBT Book Festival, please e-mail our Center Arts intern jessica@thedccenter.org to be added to the planning list. Authors and poets that are interested in presenting at the OutWrite Festival may also contact jessica@thedccenter.org. Please remember, however, that we are in the beginning of the planning process and it may take time for a response.
