Writing Ourselves Whole: Queer Sex-Positive Writing Workshop (San Francisco)

Post date: 01 June 2011
Date: begins 16 June 2011

Declaring Our Er0tic, A s3x-positive writing group, open to LGBT/SGL/queer folks of all genders. Eight Thursday eves, 6:00-8:30pm. Begins June 16 Meets in downtown San Francisco, near BART and MUNI.

Let's write about s3x! Join us for this queer s3x-positive writing workshop, a space in which we celebrate our full, complex s3xualities. Each week, we write in response to exercises designed to tap into different aspects of our s3xual selves: memory, fan+asy, experience, relationship with the b0dy, and more! You will get more comfortable expl0ring and talking about s3xual desires, receive strong feedback about your new writing, explore the full breadth of our s3xualities and desires in a fun and confidential environment - and, of course, try your hand at some 3xplicit er0tic writing.

Previous participants have found the group to be transformative, feeling that the work they've done has opened up not only their relationship with their erotic selves, but with many other aspects of their lives as well.

No previous writing experience necessary -- Open to folks of all writing abilities! Limited to 9 writers. Spaces are limited and pre-registration is required. For more information, with fee questions and to register, write to Jen at jennifer (at) writingourselveswhole (dot) org or visit www.writingourselveswhole.org.
