Job Opening: Associate Editor for Fenuxe, Atlanta's Gay Magazine

Candidate must be an adept journalist (with excellent grammar, spelling, typing and computer skills) who can write compelling stories on a variety of topics (from travel & fashion to hard-hitting news) and must be available to be active and present in the Atlanta gay community. Candidate must also possess basic familiarity with lesbian and gay civil rights issues.

Candidate would be responsible for content in the magazine from compiling calendars and writing news stories to developing full-length articles for publication in our biweekly print edition (Fenuxe Magazine - http://www.fenuxe.com/print-edition) and daily website (http://www.fenuxe.com).

Candidate would also be responsible for scouting out freelance writers, conducting celebrity interviews, interacting with PR agencies around the country, interacting with international fashion brands, local clothing stores, photographers, and models, and local events afterhours and reporting on them (Story + photos).

Candidate must also be passionate about the finer things in life (fashion, dining, style, entertainment, etc) while also maintaining a great appreciation for the nightlife scene here in Atlanta.

Candidate must be professional at all times.
