Call for Submissions on Trans Studies/ Alternative Sexuality:The National Sexuality Resource Center (NSRC)

Call for Submissions

The National S3xuality Resource Center (NSRC) is seeking thoughtful, provocative articles to feature on the front page of the NSRC website (http://nsrc.sfsu.edu). The NSRC is dedicated to increasing s3xual literacy and providing relevant analysis and information about sexuality-related issues to the general public. Selected submissions will receive an author credit. In addition to being published on the NSRC website’s front page, submissions may also be in the NSRC newsletter, which goes out to 8000+ professors, professionals, students and community members.

Relevant themes include: intersections of race, disability and/or aging & s3xuality, fat studies, trans studies, alternative s3xualities, gender, s3xuality in popular culture.

Specifications:

·Electronic submissions only to: virgie@mail.sfsu.edu & mjmcnama@mail.sfsu.edu

·Include a short (1-4 sentence) bio

·Attach article(s) to e-mail in MS Word (.doc, .docx) format

·Include in title of e-mail: NSRC Submission

·If applicable, include relevant citations (any citation style acceptable)

·Seeking diversity of styles and pieces

·Short pieces: 700-1200 words; Longer pieces: up tp 5000 words
