Each 8-week session will have a unique focus/topic. For the winter session, inky pen, we will focus on basic writing techniques such as: point of view, setting, character development, allegory/ fable/ metaphor, poetry and short story form/structure, and others. Our goal is to foster an understanding of writing on a literary level. Each week we will have an informal discussion concerning a specific writing technique or tool, and focus our attention on developing and/or honing our skills in that area. This queer-friendly course is open to women, trans-folk, and men, and is designed to accommodate beginners and more advanced writers.
