The scene: All kinds of queer, good for Ages: 18+
Location: Intermedia Arts, 2822 South Lyndale Avenue, Minneapolis, MN
G.A.S.P! (Gender Anarchy Sex Positivity) is a multi-disciplinary event with the purpose of exploring non-conforming gender roles and sex positive education through art and community organizing. The show will examine the ways these subjects intersect through the mediums of visual art, performance and educational workshops.
...The event will consist of a month long (Feb 3rd-March 6th) visual art exhibition at Intermedia Arts.
Opening Reception: Thursday, Feb 3rd 5pm-10pm (will include music, performances pieces and community/health resource information.)
Educational workshop series: Throughout the month there will be a couple educational workshops on G.A.S.P! topics. More info coming soon...
We are currently accepting visual art and performance pieces dealing with artist's interpretation of GASP! We are also seeking individuals to give brief lectures, workshops or demonstrations (extensive credentials not needed).
