Our fiction and poetry aesthetic tends to the smart, the skewed, and the sassy. We will not be publishing any heaving bosoms or turgid man-roots, and all the obvious offenders are off-limits.
For non-fiction submissions, please be brave and honest. Of particular interest are essays on STD's, ambivalence, reclaiming sexuality from a conservative background, and any other topic that is uncomfortable and necessary. Obviously, anything advocating the fore-mentioned off-limit subjects will not be published.
Other than that, surprise us. Send your work to submissions(at)tawdrybawdry.com. Replace (at) with @ in sending e-mail.
Attachments will be ignored (with the exception of imagery - jpg please). Please paste your (carefully edited and spell-checked) submission in the body of the e-mail with your real name, a pen name (if so desired), and a brief biography.
Expect our first on-line edition on or about 14 February 2011. If you wish to be considered for the first edition of Tawdry Bawdry, please submit your work by 15 January 2011.
