V-Rag Magazine is Vancouver's largest monthly gay & lesbian publication, and we're looking for writers! As a grass-roots growing arts & culture magazine, we're hoping to expand our readership and create more of a voice in the community. Focusing on music, film, entertainment and events, V-Rag is very arts-based and we need contributors with strengths in those fields. Because we're still starting out and growing, we can't offer financial compensation yet, but the experience and portfolio exposure is invaluable!
Previous writers have interviewed people like RuPaul, Tegan & Sara, Margaret Cho, Chromeo, Bruce LaBruce, Bif Naked, Lady Bunny and Mark Tewksbury. We have a readership of over 15,000 monthly and will be expanding in the coming months. Join our team of dedicated contributors and help to create the next big Vancouver sensation!
