The Q Review is interested in your poetry, short fiction, creative non-fiction, photography, and films. Here, you will find guidelines on how to submit your work to be considered for our next issue.
DEADLINE FOR NEXT ISSUE: AUGUST 15, 2010 NEXT ISSUE OUT: SEPTEMBER 1, 2010
All submissions must be your original work and must be unpublished. Upon submission, we ask for your First North American Serial Rights. You retain all rights to the work upon publication.
For literary submissions:

* For poetry (no more than 3 poems), address to Editor.
* For short fiction (no more than 5,000 words), address to Karen Lee Osborne.
* For creative non-fiction (no more than 5,000 words), address to Ames Hawkins.
* Include your name, phone number, preferred return e-mail address, and word count.
* If you wish, you may include a brief artistic statement or biography, but it will not be published.
* Send in one of the following formats: .doc, .docx, .pdf, .rtf, or .txt OR in the body of an e-mail.
* Copy must be clean and free of errors.
* All submissions that fail to follow format will be discarded.
For photography submissions:

* Include your name, phone number, and preferred return e-mail address.
* If you wish, you may include a brief artistic statement or biography, but it will not be published.

* Photography must be ready for publication and optimized for the Web.
* All submissions that fail to follow format will be discarded.
For film submissions:

* Please include a brief synopsis of the film, including cast and credits.
* If you wish, you may include a brief artistic statement or biography, but it will not be published.
* Send as a link to an external website such as YouTube, Vimeo, etc.
* All submissions that fail to follow format will be discarded.
The Q Review DOES NOT accept hard copy/snail mail submissions; therefore, we will not provide you with a street address. Do not ask for one. Electronic submissions only.
