Mike Albo is a writer and performer who lives and loves in Brooklyn. His second novel, written with his longtime friend Virginia Heffernan, is the cult humor kinda-classic, “The Underminer: The Best Friend Who Casually Destroys Your Life.” His performances of the character can be found on Youtube like everything else in the world. His first novel, the critically acclaimed “Hornito,” came out in 2000. Albo has written for zillions of magazines and websites, and was also known as The Critical Shopper columnist for the New York Times until last October. He’s performed numerous solo shows including “Spray,” “Please Everything Burst,” and “My Price Point” as well as with the comedy trio Unitard. Lately he can be seen on Plum TV as the host of What's In Store, in which he continues his work as a consumer reporter and goes shopping around the country and tries on clothing with high price tags. He is also a founder of the kinda-legendary downtown dance troupe, The Dazzle Dancers. Frank J Miles writes about bollix and jokers because he can’t box. Trained in the Drill Sergeant Artpoove School, he currently is working on a Great Theme novel that provides socially responsible answers to our world’s most intractable problems, but, you know, amusing and funny. He is looking to turn his blog about cultural-war melodrama, deweylightfoot.wordpress.com, into a magazine.
