March 2011 Theme: La Lucha
xQsí magazine is seeking submissions in anticipation of its Winter 2011 launch that speak broadly to the empowerment of the LGBTQ community. We welcome articles, stories, essays, and creative writing that highlight different aspects of our struggle/lucha to transform our lives and communities. We would especially like pieces that profile LGBTQ individuals and organizations that are positively impacting social change in fields that include – but are not limited to- social and environmental justice, immigrant rights, identity and coming out, cultural production and representation, art, and activism. How to submit: Finished work and query letters are both welcome. Please send all submissions and/or queries to xQsiSubmissions@gmail.com.
