This is a call for submissions for a slideshow exhibition and zine to be presented and distributed at the QUEEROCRACY Symposium. This public symposium will be held on April 16th and April 17th of 2011 in the Tishman Auditorium of The New School (66 West 12th Street, btw/ 5th and 6th, New York, NY).
QUEEROCRACY is a nonprofit, non-normative grassroots organization working to promote social justice and fight the global AIDS crisis through direct action, advocacy, and education. We are a group of people exploring gender/queer body and identity politics free from the confines of education, class, and the normative standards of identity society imposes upon us.
