The LGBT Intimacy Project: Call for Writing Submissions

Post date: 21 December 2010
The Intimacy Project has generated a lot of success in such a short time. In order to reach a broader audience and further the success of the project, the project will soon be manifested in the form of a book. To enhance and expound upon the images in this book, I would like to include writings from the LGBT community that reflect the true essence of The Intimacy Project.

I am currently collecting submissions to be considered for inclusion in The Intimacy Project in book form. This piece of writing is very open ended so you can write a quote, a poem, a rant, a short story or basically anything you’d like. In less than 350 words, share experiences, a viewpoint, or an outlook on what INTIMACY means to you as an LGBT individual. All participants have the option of having their writing credited or their anonymity maintained. I am also looking for additional lesbian couples to be photographed for inclusion in the book.

Space is limited, so if you are interested in contributing a piece of writing or being photographed and have any questions please feel free to contact me via e-mail.

Send your submission directly to Dawn Hartman for consideration at dawn.hartman@yahoo.com

The fine print:
Please note that you will be contributing to an existing and ongoing artistic venture and that all selections for inclusion will be determined by the sole discretion of Dawn Hartman. In submitting, you are granting permission for your work to be published if selected. Submissions should be motivated by interest in adding to The Intimacy Project, as compensation, monetary or otherwise, is not offered for this project.
