Founded on the East Coast of the United States by Christine Gerity of New Jersey, GALA Magazine | LGBT Artists' mission is to give voice to unseen,unheard, and undiscovered artists within the LGBT community; while inspiring, educating and motivating others to pursue their passions. GALA has had an online presence since 2007 and its members and followers can be found on its social networking site. While GALA's social networking site offers an opportunity for LGBT artists all of sorts to post their works and interact, it is also open to anyone interested in meeting the artists and interacting with other LGBT members. There are also forums for discussions on topics related to art, music, writing and more, as well as general topics regarding everyday life.
